Lukee Troubles

Storms

Thunder is the hard one. He howls, and he'll try to jump and run at the window or the door.

When lightning strikes, have a hand on his harness. That's the moment he bolts, and holding the harness is what keeps him from hitting the glass or the door.

Then drown it out. Noise is the other half of the job — the more of the storm he can't hear, the better:

Either works. Both is better.

Evening fussiness

Almost every night after dinner, Lukee gets fussy. It passes. Two things work:

Blankets and pillows

The evening fuss is when he'll go after blankets. A well-made bed with the corners tucked in is a down payment against that later — tucked, there's nothing for him to get a grip on.

Keep pillows out of reach entirely.
